methods & printing

I use a high resolution professional digital camera & a panoramic tripod head to create ultra-high resolution images. This enables me to print very large and retain a truly amazing level of detail. For example, "Rainbow at Dead Horse Point" is an 80 megapixel image with a 160 degree field of view! All Photographs are minimally adjusted to obtain the most natural color and tone in the print. 

 

For printing, I use the latest generation of archival digital imaging equipment. This, when combined with the archival media, ensures the print will last 200+ years without fading. I offer various media for printing including canvas, metal, and traditional glass framing. Let me know your needs and we can figure out what works best for you and your budget.

 

Photographs over 18” (40" panoramas) are signed/numbered limited editions, a total of 250 will be made of these photographs.  Photographs printed 18”/40" and under (longest dimension) are signed open editions and will be printed to fit as large as possible without cropping.

 Pricing for unframed archival prints 13" x 19" is $91.00 (panoramas $143.00) + postage.

I use a 100% cotton rag archival photo paper for all my prints. For larger sizes, just contact me electronically or by phone and let me know your needs (custom sizing is available).  I will respond promptly with a quote. Special pricing is available for purchases of 10+ limited edition prints and for non-profits. I do office installations.

 

Unmounted prints 16" x 20” and under are shipped flat in a non-bendable envelope and an archival polypropylene sleeve.  Prints over 16" x 20” long are shipped rolled. Mounted prints are shipped via USPS freight.
